About the Author
Gar Mouland is the broker/owner/operator of “Outlier NL Realty, a real estate brokerage that primarily serves the St. John’s Metropolitan Area in Newfound and Labrador.
He has represented buyers and sellers during the past 21 years in both residential and commercial real estate.
However, during that period and primarily, because of his accounting and financial background, his main interest has been in the area of commercial real estate.
During the first 12 years of his real estate career, Gar worked with several national real estate brokerages.
However, since 2017, he has owned and operated his own brokerage- “Outlier NL Realty”.
During that period, he has received great satisfaction in assisting both novice and seasoned investors achieve both their short term and long term investment goals by making wise financial investments.
Also, during that period, he has seen how often good opportunities have been missed and how poor ones pursued, simply because the underlying valuation concepts weren’t clearly understood.
Gar’s CPA designation and his prior experience in the areas of financial management, budgeting, and as an accounting instructor gives him the required skills and experience to guide you through the sometimes complex process of investing in commercial real estate and businesses.
His goal isn’t to make you an expert overnight but rather to give you the foundational knowledge to ask better questions, evaluate opportunities more critically and to understand the commercial real estate landscape with genuine clarity.
